National Basket Ball Players
Akash Subbaiah and Sanjana Suresh represented Karnataka under-18 Basketball team held at Madhya Pradesh (Indore). Kaustubh Patel and Chahana Suresh represented Karnataka under-13 Basketball team held at Rajasthan.

Mallya Aditi International Inter-School Under-14 Cricket Tournament
The Inter School Cricket Tournament conducted by MAIS was held at Wheel and Axel Ground. Yelahanka. VNS beat Aditi Mallya International School in the finals to lift the trophy. Six schools participated in the Tournament. In the Semi finals VNS beat Vidya Shilp Academy by 30 runs. The scores were as follows:
Semi Finals
VNS - 140 for 7 in 20 overs. Sanat - 40, Harsh - 30, Arghya Pal - 30
Vidya Shilp - 110 All out in 20 overs.  Arghya 3 for 20, Sai Kiran 2 for 20.
Finals
VNS - 140 for 6 in 20 overs Sanat - 50, Arghya - 30, Mukund - 20
Aditi Mallya International School - 115 all out, Arghya al - 2 for 20, Saikiran - 2 for 20
Vidya Niketan won the finals by 25 runs. Sanat Kumar was declared the Man of the Match.

Basketball Tournament
Boys and Girls under-13 team Basketball Team, were the winners of Winsor’s Sports Academy held at Green Country Public School.

6th Vidya Shilp Inter-School Athletic Meet 2010
6th VSA Inter-School Athletics meet conducted on 26th February 2010 at Vidya Shilp Accademy Ground. 46 students both Boys & Girls from
(Ist to IVth STD) our school participated in this meet. Out Athlete won 34 Gold, 12 Silver & 6 Bronze Medals in this meet, and also won the Runner Up Team championship.
Narahari Kripa Mehta, Vignesh.M.Venkatesh, Ashitha Hebbar, Advika S.G, Brind.B.V from Ist STD, Bhagawan Kripa Mehta, Tarun Mammen, Aparajita Jayaram from IInd STD, Gaurav Jhangiani, T.S.Thimmaiah, Sanskriti.B.Gurappa from IIIrd STD, Trivikrama Sai.P.T, Cynthia Joy.J, Mehak Neel from IVth STD put up an outstanding performance in this competition and won many medals.

21st Deccan Week-end Athletic Meet
VNS Girls U-12 and U-15 years and Boys U-13 and U-16 participated in the 21st Deccan Week-End Athletics meet held at Sree Kanteerava stadium, Bangalore on 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th December 2009 ( Four Sundays). The wonderful performance by our athletes won them many medals and Cash prizes.

Taekwando Competition
Sudharshan of Std V participated in a Taekwando competition . There were 200 participants. He was judged by P.V. Ramakrishna, a 6th Dan Black belt and he was awarded the blue belt, on winning in second place. He also won a nunchak. 
        Anish H Desai of Std V won the silver medal in the 10th State Level Taekwando [ITF] Championship held in AFTC, Badminton Hall. held on 21st and 22nd Nov 2009. it was organised by the Taekwando Association of Karnataka.

Golf Tournament
Kudos to Nikhil Mohan of Std. VIII who was placed first in the Golf Tournament for 13-14 and 15-17 year olds conducted by The Bangalore Golf Club in January 2010. He was awarded a trophy.
